Psychogenic Anorexia and Bulimia

Eating Disorders: Anorexia and Bulimia Ανορεξία Βουλιμία
Psychogenic anorexia and bulimia are among the so-called "Eating Disorders". People with psychogenic anorexia worry too much about their weight, even when it is far below normal, and try to loose weight in every way. Bulimia most commonly starts with simple symptoms, such as an increased desire to eat and ends up being more serious, such as consuming an excessive amount of food in a short period of time. People with bulimia feel that they cannot stop or control "What" and "How much" they eat. They use various ways to avoid gaining weight, such as self-induced vomiting, abuse of laxatives, diuretics or other drugs, fasting or excessive exercise. Eating disorders are more common with girls and young women aged 12 to 24, but are seen more and more and with boys.
