The term " special learning difficulties " refers to a separate category of difficulties related to learning and more specifically, to the processing of written speech. They are characterized by the intense and persistent difficulty of the student to acquire the skills of reading, spelling and / or mathematics ability, to a degree proportional with their chronological age, their intelligence and the education they have received. There are three types of special learning disabilities: reading disorder, mathematic learning disorder (dyscalculia) and Disorder of written expression. The special learning difficulties are inherent in the person, that is, they characterize (or don’t) a person from birth to the end of their life and do not appear suddenly at some point and do not suddenly disappear at some point.
