Asperger's Syndrome

asperger
Asperger's syndrome is the mildest and most functional form of autism and is a neurodevelopmental disorder. A child with Asperger 's syndrome has normal or above-average mental capacity and usually has no speech or other developmental delays. However, there are mild to very serious deficiencies and malfunctions in various areas of development which affect how the individual perceives the world, their ability to understand the thoughts and feelings of others, as well as their ability to interact and communicate with the world around them.
The syndrome is also characterized by the appearance of stereotypical behavior, interests and activities, such as the interest in the planets, for the Metro routes, for dates, which do not find a response to the interests of the individual 's interlocutors. The above characteristics affect to a greater or lesser degree the social, emotional and professional life of the person with Asperger’s syndrome.
Adults with Asperger 's Syndrome are often among the most highly performing individuals in a field (e.g. science, art).
